Been busy the past week refurbing these 205 alloys to go on my mates 106. Cal had been giving me a hand with the prep work and we got the first one finished last night and im really pleased with the result to be honest! here is some pics
after lots of cleaning up and removing the old paint and odd bit of corrosion we got the wheels in primer. I Used halfords white primer and rubbed it down with a P800 grit wet and dry piece of paper (used wet) between the coats of primer to remove any imperfections.

after i was happy with the coat of primer, i put 3, good layers of halfords apliance gloss white spray paint, again flattening it back between layers with P800 to remove any imperfections/orange peel effect. This the only pic i have with just gloss on, it was after the first coat

Before applying the laquer i flattened it with a P1200 grit wet and dry and off i went with the laquer (halfords stuff again!) Really impressed with the final outcome tbh
