Can anyone give me the name for the best/strongest wheel cleaner.
I have spent 2 hours trying to clean a single wheel and I have 4 to do.
All are without tyres and off the car but I have the most fucking stubborn brake dust on the wheels.
I have tried, daz, pleadge, wd40, gt85, proper brake dust cleaner, wonder wheels and it's hardly fucking shifting
I need a really good cleaner but am not sure what else to try
Anyone know of a good one?
Thanks

Good stuff that.
Sorry to hi-jack your thread, but If i used one of these wheel cleaners, will it fuck me wheels? They have been sprayed with cans, so Im worried it would take the lacquer off.
Just sticking to soapy water atm.

I have used pledge and daz to clean my bike wheels for years. Pledge is a well known brake dust remover. No so much for baked on stuff though. WD40 also cleans but more add a film to reduce build up.

I think we have cillit bang somewhere. I'll test it on the inside.
Anyone else recommend the hot wheels stuff then?. I don't want to pay out more money if it's no better than wonder wheels

Aye, good stuff, spray it on, leave it for a minute, give it a scrub with a wheel brush, should soon take it.
Or try a clay bar, they are supposedly good for brake dust.

I use some industrial strength cleaner that my dad swiped from his work. It's meant for cleaning heavy duty pressing machines, works wonders on alloys

Well Cillit bang is not recommended, yes it cleans the dust well but bubbles the paint. Good job I tested on the inside. Far too aggressive. So sod oven cleaner. I seen what something like Mr Muscle did to our outside wall when my mum leaned the hob grills to be cleaned on. That blistered the paint as well.
