My mum has been in her job for 9years now, however for the past year or so, her collogues have been treating her really badly, bearing in mind she works in an office with 4other people.
They leave her out of conversations and treat her as though she isnt even there. my mum has spoken to managers on many occasions who have had conversations with the staff involved, things change for a week then go back to usuall, this has got to the point where she is currently off with depression.
She dosnt want to quit as its taken her a long time to get to where she is and enjoys the actual work she does.
She was called in for a meeting with the HR manager today who gave her 4 options:
1. He will have all collegues together to air out differences
2. Resign
3. Offered another role avaliable but involves late nights and weekends(currently 9-5 mon-fri)
4. Redundancy(god knows why this was offered)
Basically, is this normal and does she have a leg to stand on if none of the options are suitable.

any idea why redundancy has been offered, what would be the advantage of this when she could just leave anyway?

you can only offer redundancy if the position is not going to exist anymore, so dunno why they offered her that
