What a fucking state my crossmember is, only realising how bad it is since i got the new one today. The fact that it collapsed and burst my rad also helps me realise, new rad sorted ages ago tho, just got to get the crossmember welded on, new rad mounts, then its all good

Both ends of the old one are gone, think they are still stuck on the car, or they have totally rotted away
Found an old MOT sticker too, MOT has been out since January 26th 2006

For sealing it up, whats best to do? Galvanising paint, primer, paint, then some underseal?

Spray on some Etch Primer, then get some bag sealer on it. That's what I did to my one

Nope, it's a standard part. You only see it on the really old Corsas because it's a bit of an elaborate way of holding on the OAT sensor You don't need it though

Ahh, I see, yours looked different. Might move the sensor somewhere else, someone suggested using it for intake air temp, could be quite a cool mod.
