all for 150 worth of sat nav. now ive goota pay 300 excess to get it repaired.
anyone know if i can claim compensation as car was parked in work car park with no sign up saying 'car parked at owners risk'.

remembering bluetooth has like a 10 metre radius it gives them a fairly good idea.
i dont think they;d use it in a multi story, more a quiet street with cars on their own or in small groups.
when thinking like they do say u pick one up and theres two cars. An S type with built in satnav, and a corsa...... it's going to be in the corsa.

i have heard before of a claim where the owners of the car park (i.e. my work) are not excluding themselves from liability for the cars parked in it.
im sure i could argue that they provide the car park for staff and display no signs so you take a reasonable assumption that its safe to do so??? but im not sure if id get anywhere

hmmmm so contrasting info on there.
its seems that with it being a staff only car park its an extension of the working evironment, and so they have to take 'reasonable' steps to ensure Health and saftey is maintained.
Only trouble is im sure reasonable steps could be intrerpreted as nearly anything.
previos insidents have been reported to the company and nothing has been done about it so i could argue the case with them
