ITV 1 tomorrow night at 10pm, looks like it could be quite interesting. I saw the advert for it yesterday, looks like she meets the man called "Britain's biggest scrounger" and tries to find out why he has never worked and is on benefits etc.

Because he can get away with it. If you could put any sense of personal pride to one side and get tens of thousands for doing sod all, wouldn't you be on benefits now too?

I'd feel like a dirty tramp who had totally failed at life if I ever had to go on the dole.

John, not necessarily. I walked out of a job a few years ago with nothing else to go to. So I signed on for about 3weeks while I was looking. Got about £50 in all.

i used to have a mate who said he was never going to get a job "not no way, not no how" because his mum has been on benefits her whole life, she gets paid benefits and makes quite alot of money selling weed to her son and his mates (not me as i don't see him anymore before you ask )

pathetic really, if you can't be fucked working for a living.

being genuinely ill and claiming is a different matter entirely

I dunno, read the rates on the PDF

Not worth it, that guy on the TV only earns so much because he has 18 kids

Id rather be a tax paying monkey than have 18 fugly kids running around and 2 munters for women.

Fuck it, I'm handing my notice in, buying a recliner and watch daytime TV until I die.
