I've not seen one in the flesh, but they do look really nice and the spec/media reports do seem to see it edge out the 911's and comparables.

Sure, most manufacturers have a design theme, BMW has the Bangle Flame styling, the new Jags will be based on the C-XF and Audi uses the grill. All about promoting brand identity.
