I want to reset my ecu but I haven't got the code and vauxhall say they get changed all the time so I have a 2000 corsa sport with a cdr 500 cd headunit; any ideas people?

what were trying to say is we cant just guess what it is, you have to go to vaux with your reg and theyll charge you to find it out

Take radio out,get the big serial no off the unit and note down the model number.

There are websites that will send you the code for as little as £5, i did this on my CDR500 radio.
