Anyone on here into Water skiing or wakeboarding?
I am in need of a new sporty hobby as i'm bored of just going to the gym so i fancy giving them a go. I dont know anybody that does either so i thought i'd ask on here.
Been looking at wetsuits and Ski's/Boards on the internet and i reckon i can get set up with some decent gear for under £400.
Just want to know how hard it is really.

I've got a wake board you can buy if you want. Still at mothers.
Water skiing is good fun, mono skiing is better. But i prefer wake boards over those.
Been a good 10+ years since i've been on either though

Pffff, let me see how much they go for. I'll go get a picture, won't be tonight though as i've got to go to mothers and go in the loft.
Its not one of these types of wakeboard...

Its a longer board, and has fins on the lower back part of the board, just like high spec water skies.
Like one of these...

well i had a go at water skiing today. all i can say is its really bloody difficult. I tried to get up 7 times but couldn't. then the one time i did i crashed out after 2 seconds. Wake boarding looks easier so gonna try that next time.
