What cable setup is normally used?

Mine has just broken and im not sure what to do.

Thinking about going down to scrap yard and buying a rear beam splitter thing.

then running a nova main cable thrn a Nova short cable from the splitter to the drivers side?

the LMF kit buddy saves time and you know its right altho i have never been able to get the handbrake to work altho i have no probes with on road brakeing.

been told to use standard Corsa Main longer cable with that splitter device and the Nova short cable that screws into it?
