Does this do anything but make a meatyer noise? not that thats a bad thing, but was just curious performance wise.. presumably it takes more air into the engine, and if the ecu was reset it may make a difference
Correct me if im wrong thoe  im tempted to do it untill i get a decent cold air induction kit 
- also, can anyone suggest a decent cheap(ish) induction kit for my 1.2 8v?

1.2's dont have a MAF so resetting ECU wont have the slightest difference.

wont do anything to a 1.2 8v TBH
drill it for the noise if anything

Put one of them cheap shit ones on!  because your not gonna get anything for it buy adding a decent one like a BMC one for example!

lol! ive got a pipercross one on my 1.2 8v n it makes it sound deeper. get plenty of cold air feeds on that badboy though!
