Not keen on them at all. Funny story to tell, somebody with a 550hp Evo was stopped in Essex for a routine check by an under cover ST. The copper said to him it's lucky you pulled over as you wouldn't have a chance losing us - he was serious too. See a trend with 30 something year old drivers thinking they are the bee's knees in these cars.

gfs mum has one, often allowed the keys for the night.
doesnt have the leather, but the recaros are the comfiest (sp) seats i have ever sat in, hold you in snug so well.
not as good off the mark as you'd expect, but still not slow by any means. once on the move it will take a very very quick car to pull past you. pulls really well, drop a gear and your offski.
handles really well for a standard car can shove it about more than enough.
just feel the car looks abit too plain in any other colour than white or orange, but then again may be a good point for some people

Not a fan im afraid, Common as Muck round the midlands... Not as good to look at or as unique as a VXR. And not as quick as an XE Throttle Bodied Corsa had a little spat against one in a straight line.
Would prefer the VXR, Megan or Leon Cupra R (Old not new) personally.

I think they suck ass.
Don't like the look of them at all.
And as mentioned, they're always driven by 30+ year olds on their early mid-life crisis.

Totally. Not just saying that because I'm now clearly biased by owning an RS But if you don't mind lots of people having the ST then go for it, they're more common than the RS which was a limited edition (only just over 2000 were sold in the UK). The ST is a group 17 insurance car and has about 225bhp iirc. The RS is group 16 insurance, with 212bhp and have similar 0-60 speeds: the RS 0-60 is 6.4s (top speed of 144mph) and the ST 0-60 is 6.5s and top speed of 151mph. The ST is also slightly heavier by about 200kg (but obv has the bigger 2.5 V6 engine). IMO the RS looks better and the interior is a damn sight more appealing, but then again some may say that I may be slightly biased....

personally id go for the rs, but those people talking about which is quickest, its worth remebering the ST was a good couple of seconds quicker than the RS when Top gear tested it round there track. I know its only one track but a couple of seconds is a fair bit

I'll have an orange one please
Sat in one and the seats are comfy as fuk! Mind you IF i had the money i would have to test drive the Megane F1...Astra VXR and the Golf GTI.There's a lot of competition for that amount of cash.

Good cars, i work for ford and we havent had any coming back with problems! Very reliable, comfy, quick, easy to tune. Bad point is how common they are!

I hardly ever see them Or Astra VXRs!
VW Golf GTi seem to be more common round here.
