Am I right in thinking a power boost valve will increase fuelling and an ecotek valve is meant to improve consumption?

A mate has fitted the two to his car and was telling me of the mega power increase?

He also fitted a K&N too. It's a 1.25 zetec. I'm guessing, if anything, it'll just be using more fuel now?

Tell him he needs to turn the fuel pressure up to get the best out of the car.
