the blue one has a VH45DE engine witch is a 4.5 liter nissan v8 32v with 2 turbos bolted on to it. it si supposed to make 720 hp. car weighs 1080kg

there absolute stunning and cool as fuck  a decent one can be picked up for around £3-5k, just keep an eye out on ebay/pistonheads 
though i agree with sunz, the 240z seems to be a complete waste with the yanks with them shoving big blocks into jap cars

After watching some vids they look more like the sx cars to me rather then the 300zx.
On youtube some people had the s13, s14 and s15 type 4 cylinder engines in other datsuns could work in the 240z I guess, might be a cheaper engine then the skyline but will still be able to gain a decent amount of power.
Japanese make a better looking muscle car then the yanks and with all the decent things like front brake discs and 4 independent shocks 
Crazy yanks dont know why they bother..
Hope you do get the car tho has to be one of the most sweet looking cars to date.

i wouldnt mind getting one of these and fitting either a jag v12 lump or a rover v8 in but sadly these days dont have the garage space or time but im from an era where i saw many of these on the road and they were nice to look at when new but datsuns suffered rot badly on thier early motors so not many good ones left nowadays

cheers mate, i saw that one on ebay the other night. Its an option but i'm off to see the one 20 miles away, its got no engine which is going to be a bonus.
