I posted my problem to this site because of the Forum's name "Corsa Sport". I was sure that the people using the forum would have Vauxhall Corsa Sports. Am I mistaken????

Please see my main post under "Corsa - Anybody know what this is?"

I am trying to find out what should be on the end of this tube.

If you do have a Corsa Sport, or a similar car with this type of engine (X14XE) I would appreciate it if you would lift your car's bonnet and have a look in the engine bay for me and see if you have something similar.

A posted photo would be a great help.

my astra has something very similar on the side of the egr valve its like a small round valve or something not sure what it is but looks the same but a bit cleaner than that in the pic
