Serviced my car the other day noticed oil drops on my dive and road were i park thought beta check my oil level case its lost some noticed iv over filed it, do i need to empty some? how? also can this cause any damage?

undo the sump nut, slowly, and itll trickle out, do this till its the right level

could it of caused any damage, drove about 285 miles with it like it was wasnt massivly over but was upto the top of the indicator on dip stick

As long as it wasent massivly over you should be alright. give the plugs a check to see if they are oily

is this the only problem it could cause? oily plugs? wanst massivly over no just 1cm maybe 2 over the max

Shouldn't have done damage really. It can blow out crank oil seals if over filled due to excess crank case pressure. 1cm over shouldn't have hurt really.
