Dont get me wrong, Subarus aren't perfect by any stretch of the imagination but it just does my head in when people hear a bit of pub talk and then think they are a Subaru tech! They just have to be modified sensibly, get the cooling and fuelling correct and they are generally ok! Not only that, its not usually piston failure that makes the Subarus let go, they normally throw a big end shell (on number three)

Dont get me wrong there will always be one or two standard cars that let go but then again look at the amount of problems someone like BMW have had with the E46 M3 engine!
