I've only had 3 road legal cars that i've drove around, and two of them have been wrote off, 1st the Punto was rear-ended then pushed into the car in front. Then the Corsa which i'm sure you all know about.
After all the Corsa crap got me thinking, why spends thounds and make loads of effort to make it look nice just for it to get took away for one second's worth of mistake.
So, Do I buy another car (corsa/VTS) and ''do it up''?
Or forget cars and find something else to do?
trouble is, cars are my passion, I don't really have any other interests.
Thanks for any advice.

2 cars if you can afford it.
A boring sensible, but cheap to run road car that will be reliable.
Get a Saxo/106/Corsa, strip it, and enjoyr track days for hooning around on. Far better, and safer.
Can't worry about car accidents as anything could happen anytime anywhere.
I like the whole car scene, but as i've got older, im more interested in power and track performance opposed to looks and pimpin-ness.

Why not spend the money on something that your happy with out the box rather than "playing" with something else.
Work out better in the long run.

Get a new car. Like learning to ride a bike you fall, but you get back up!
I thought the same thing when I had my accident but when you get a new car you won't be able to stop yourself

Can't afford two cars
And I love messing around with corsa's TBH and putting bits on them, or removing bits

Don't pull the plug on something you enjoy doing. Stick with it

its up to you, but as you know, life is short so if modding makes you happy and you dont think anything can replace it then stick with it

If you can bring yourself round to doing something else then do it, if you cant help but buy a car and do it up then sod it.

if you do have the worry of something else happening for example a "crash" ease your mind a bit and add some safety to the car, ie a cage, biger brakes, fixed seats with 4 point harneses, sort of track car style...

True. But the same will still happen to the car.

In this case I had NO chance of preventing though, which may be the case again!
