you can wet the arches and then get a heat gun on them but use plenty of water and dont hold the heatgun on to long or you will melt them.

dont know never done it myself but at a guess itd say a hair dryer wouldnt get hot enough

Turn off your caps lock 
Anyway, the heatgun trick will work, hairdryer prob would work, but take much longer. You can buy a heatgun for £15 anyway.
