It was boring as fuck.
Rather be on minimum wage.
I get ants in my pants. I never stay anywhere for that long.
I managed two years there. That was good for me!

The pay itself is'nt great but they have given you a pay rise above inflation. 10% in fact!
However depends what age you are - if your not qualified then you will have the same problem elsewhere.

www.jobserve.com
Give you a good idea on the wages you should be getting.
I want to do all that funky shit, and im being paid nearly 3 times that, and I don't know f-all
Get on Jobserve, find yourself some interviews, go to your company, tell them you want a rise (but tell them WHY you want a rise, that you've done x work, you do this and that, then show them similar jobs with the higher salaries). If they want you, they will offer you a decent raise.
If its a pissass company, they'll refuse point blank, in which case, its time to leave anyway.

i mean wtf, i do actionscript, java, asp.net, css and sql very compentally and thats not including all the design work i do. i pull in so much for the company. yet i get a sob story as to why i'm not worth xxx.
I have no real qualifications, I drive round in circles listening to music and I have a tea break every 2 hours and get 4 days off in every eight - and I earn over double that, not that I'm smug

Russ, what are you doooooiiinggg?? I was on more than that 2 years ago when i was just doing graphic design! and i didnt even have a degree!!!!
With your skills you deserve to be atleast earning your age! Im on 19k now and hopefully 23k next month for designing magazines! not the most demanding job!
Get yourself out there mate, sooo many places uptown looking for people like you, an all rounder. Get your CV done with your portfolio and get hunting. Id only take a 12k job if it were part time!
