Come to the point where i can finally get myself a new car for the weekend and possiblly some track days, The thing i cant decide is if i should be a car that has been made fast (engine work etc) or just by one that is fast standard?
up until my present car ive always had moddified cars and kind of miss it but dont miss the probles that come with them.
prob spend around 4k unless something is really nice then could spend more, what are peoples opions and recomendations?

id buy something that can satisfy quite well standard but then can be improved on like a 205 gti
It easy for thing to get oout of hand cost wisw when building a track car (to rebuild mine to current spec would cost me at least £10k) so plan well.
