lying badgers, blatently says Here that i build up my own no claims as a named driver, just rang up to speak to someone to see if ive built any up, got some foreign dude i cant understand and he tells me that thats wrong and that its only and introductory offer of 10%, so i was like wtfuppercut im looking at it now and it says we can give named drivers their own no claims, he starts going off on one so i ask to speak to someone higher up (partly because i cant tell a thing hes saying) and then he starts getting all, well theyll just tell you the same thing so i was like id like to speak to a manager/supervisor and then he went quiet for a minute so i hung up, cowboys i tell thee!

Avoiding the issue. Typical.
I used to use them, they were fine, but then I was insured on a policy for me, not for someone else.

im not sure how it works though it just says:
quote:
- We can give your named drivers their own no claims discount:
If you are a named driver, you can earn your own no claims discount when you purchase a policy with us in you own right. If you are the spouse or partner of the policy holder you could earn up to 70% discount when you insure your own car with us. If you are purely a named driver you can earn up to 40% discount when you insure a car with us. Discounts apply to the risk element of the premium only, and not to any optional covers or to the first £42, which covers administration costs. If you are a named driver looking to purchase your own insurance, unfortunately we are unable to process your application online, please call 0800 056 2683. You will still be eligible for an online discount of up to 10%. Calls may be recorded and/or monitored.

Norwich union are useless badgers, I remember when sorting out my claim when I crashed, I nearly ended up in court because they didn't pay the other insurance company

i like them, my policys have always been cheap although i hate their call centre staff (you know who) with a passion.
back on topic, no you arent earning no claims on the other policy because you havent taken out your own Main Driver policy on another car, which it clearly states there.

They are wankers, for starters they have their call centres in other countries, by using them you are only selling out your own country. I've been with bell for the last year who have been great, I can honestly say I was really pleased with their service, when I renewed last month I went with admiral, because bell are part of the admiral group, and admiral were slightly cheaper, so why not.
