I neeeed a car badly after losing my last SXi..
I have around 1k/2k to spend and I'm endlessly searching for a new SXi with subtle mods that has been cared for and looked after but with no luck at the moment!
Pleeeaaaase, does anyone know of any people looking to sell or selling their Corsa b SXi and know it's been well looked after?
Thanks for any help!! I'm situated in South West so as close as possible to here would be great.

Don't just look for an SXi, you're limiting yourself too much in finding a good car. If you're that desperate, any Corsa guise would be ok!

get a 1.4 sport mate...put the remaining cash on insurance depoist! only £200/300 more on insure when i looked...and quoted my sister same recently

Thing is tho pal, I have to go for a 1.2i due to not being able to go any higher due to insurance obviously gunna be a tad expensive..
SXi have all the extra's like PAS etc don't they?
Really stuck Don't want any other car either..

they sound to insure...what you pay on the sxi?? the 1.4's have PAS and everything mate...the sxi is just a lower model with a little engine in it...sport is way better, will be a much strong lump...got mine for £1450 with low mileage and FSH all looked after lady drivers n that...insurance is £1240 a year...like £90 a month??

He can't get a 1.4 'cause he's mid-term on his insurance.

Look at GLS as well. Might not get you alloys or spoiler, but does get you electric windows, EPAS, sun roof, electric mirrors etc. Will be the same, if less on insurance too.

Oh right got yah...well u can switch from a 1.2 corsa to a 1.2 clio if u can find a gud one...missus did the same...theives broke the sterring coloum so was a right off!...u cud get any corsa and strip ure SXi down for parts??? basically make it a sxi...did they put 16v lumps in normally models?

Ok cool, well if any of the above are for sale I'll take a look at it!
I'm looking at buying one subtley modified anyway so aslong as insurance isn't too steap it's fine.
Just want one that hasn't been done up cheaply and not been looked after for a reasonable price.. Cheers all for your comments.
I was paying 1300 a year for SXi and that's due to go up as I wrote it off.

Yeah, SXi was a 1.2 16v DOHC engine. X12XE iirc.
