no i dont think it will work like that, try putting whatever the glue is on, in the freezer over night so the glue can be pealed off.

I dont think superglue melts... well only a rediculous temperatures...

I wouldnt use it on your GHD's kat.

i super glued hairstraighteners back together after standing on them. and it never melted so, mustn't melt unless at a high temp!

I stood on the missus' GHD's and glued them back together hoping she wouldnt notice! The glue never melted.
However she saw the line of glue and i ended up buying a new pair so dont know how long it would have lasted!!

I need a quick fix haha, the plate thing is held in still just pop's out on one side, managed to do my hair this morning...

dnt think superglue melts at all. Think it just burns if it get rediculously hot.

No air inside the tube to react with the glue in the tube, so it doesn't dry. That might be why it sometimes dries at the top of the tube TBH i really don't know

Nah your right, the cap's designed to keep air out the tube although if you left it long enough some would have stuck to the inside of the tube.
