where you staying? york isnt flooded and niether is surroudning areas, Pocklington was and nearest other place was hull and filey all is ok now, whether should be ok aswell

Its like attending a race meeting at a race track. You get small stands, but the actual event isn't about "showing", its about "proving".
Excellent day out for what it is. When you fancy a change from the track action, go look round the carpark. Or catch the bus down the other end of the runway to watch the top speed passes.
A supra going past you at 201.5mph at about 7000+rpm sounds awesome...
