What are the technical differences between these two engines, one is in a '94' model and one is in a '95' model

c16xe has no egr valve or secondary air induction
Air mass meter instead of MAF sensor
plastic top inlet and has slightly larger inlet ports

this is the '94'



and this is the '95', both are GSi's but the C16xe seems faster, but the X16xe has a very quick response on the accelerator and I wanna' get rid of the emissions thing on the passenger side to clean up the engine bay a bit.
