Thinking of getting one of these for my 1.4 16v sport.

which one should i go for out of the two?
does having a silencer box lessen the performance from the one without the box??
what gains should i see from installing it, i currently have an inlet and induction kit, where in the rev range will it change??

ive got a custom decat on my gsi. dont know about bhp gains, if any, but i noticed a definate more 'pull' within 2 and 3k. cant beat the sound either! sound amazing

if u want it to be louder go for the one without the box mate. u wont find much difference performance with either. be prepared to take it off for M.O.T tho unless its abit on the sly.....

cheers mate, im going to go for the on with the box i think because i have heard some car sbecome stupidly loud, aslong as its the same for performance i think the box is the way to go!!

yeh mate deffo. ive got a box on mine with sebring and induction kit and it sounds really nice. not too loud but far from quiet. go for it m8

Ask them if it is a silencer or just an imitation cat.
An imitation cat will just have a straight pipe through the middle and wont be any quieter.
