Mate had a run of bad luck when his clutch plate got obliterated yesterday so now he cant get into gear. Just revs with no movement.

now back when I had a Clio I remembered querying a new clutch and was told the engine would need to be lifted to gain access to the gear box. I was hearing numbers like £300 odd quid.

anyone got any clues on this one as to prices of parts and rough labour hours.
