Hiya, i brought a 1.6 engine at the weekend and am going to be putting it in on monday but my mate says i need all the barrel stuff and a key not just swap the ecu. Mines a 1997 X14XE. Cheers

You shouldnt need the key, but you jsut reminded me, a black box which goes near the barrell was left behind at my dads you will need this I can Bring it up to you if you want? Apart from that I am not aware that you will need anything else you havn't got.

need the ecu, loom, chip from the key and the pickup from round the lock barrell from the same car.
