iv got a 1.6 16v r reg corsa sport with 46k on t clock n its burning through loads of oil whn am driving along and give it sum revs it puffs out blue smoke any ideas wot it could b lads

Could be piston rings.

Your looking at £200 odd in parts before labour

head bolts x 10
head gasket set
sump gasket
con rod shells x 4
con rod bolts x 8
upper piston rings x 4
lower piston rings x 4
oil control rings x 4

Thats £200 odd to change piston rings and valve stem seals
