it running really slow sometimes for some eason even when like moving pictures around opening them etc.
ive had it like 2 months
Intel Centrino Duo
1000mb of ram etc
Vista
if i dont even run any programmes is using 50% of the ram for no reason but only like 2% of the cpu
ive cleared all net files cookies etc done a disk clean up. help!

How much RAM is it saying is installed when you checked the System Info?
TBH 1GB RAM + Vista = bad times!

have you downloaded stuff? might have virus' running in background, maybe do a system restore to a date when it was fine?

1k as i said before.
i could system restore but dnt know if ive done a point id have to copy everything to disk 
its a 12" screen ultra postrable thats why is got low ram

Is it saying this though in the system menu? As my Dad has recently got a new one, meant to have 2GB but one of the sticks wasnt installed properly so said it only had 1GB.
