You might have read earlier in week had problem with gears. wouldnt go in 1st or reverse. Well found out it the gear mechanism.

how much will this cost to get fixed?

car? engine? probably cheaper to get a secondhand gearbox and get that fitted.

prob looking at £50 for the box and £100-200 for fitting dependin on where you go

sounds like the linkage, its not really hard just fiddly could probably do it your self, get a post up in help zone asking how to do it

Im seriously useless with cars lol. I was expecting 300/400 quid as thought i needed new gear box or clutch so anything less and im happier.
