Ok, I've got an alpine head unit, and on the back is some sort of socket which fits a small male jack plug...If I bought a lead with 2 male jacks & put the other end in my head unit and turned the source to aux, (what ever it is), will that run the ipod through the car?

Sorry if this is correct and I'm sounding thick, was just wondering though, thanks
