Have many of you done it, it seems really cheap to do and you get some cracking conditions of cars

Just abit scared to de honest,

what is the process of it all? how longs it take? any information would be handy

Its allot of hassle, id just by a freshly imported one and be the first Uk owner.

Loads of people in the UK do all the hard work for you. There is a guy in Gloucester that imports jap cars for UK sales. We do wheels for some of his drift style supras etc...

Yeah, the worry for me is always the lack of history that comes with it.
Also alot of jap cars missing the anti corrosion paint etc that the european cars get.

A friend of mine bought a 350 import and had a nightmare with it, i helped him do some of the paperwork and it was a mission!!! Then he had loads of things go wrong with the car as well - stuff that really shouldnt have gone wrong with it which cost him the 3k he was saving if he had just bought one in the uk (with a warranty) anyway
