Waiting to get my strat back

Getting a 57 reissue neck fitted..new strings..tune up etc etc

It's just a Mexican 60th anniversary in Sunburst Not a fan of the rosewood necks and being a huge Dave Gilmour fan i've gone for the 57 maple

Will get a pic when i get it back thursday

Good thread that!

What i did was bought the best i could afford as no matter what people say cheap guitars are shit even if you can't play.

My guitar cost me £350 and my amp was £90 which is a small practice amp called the Vox 50.It has about 12 effects so no need for a peddle.

My tip is get a SIMPLE book at first that will teach you the 5 major chords then get a DVD which will help with chord progression.

Go onto Ultimate tabs.com and tab is the easy way of learning as reading music is pretty hard and takes a while to learn.

I'm getting annoyed with mine now, just because I can't find decent tabs anywhere as they are apparently now copyright infringement

The 2 best sites are currently not working because of this
