on 29-Jun-07. Now the seller is Unregistered. And i still havn't received my item.

Been through paypal to and put a dispute in to try and negotiate something with the seller.

I have 20 days or so before the dispute closes i think, What happens after then, and whats the chances of me being refunded?

if there is money in the paypal account you'll get it back. If he conned you and emptied it then you've no chance.

Why I dont use egay anymore, about 5 con-artists for every genuine seller.

Not in my eyes. How come ive had 25 genuine sales with no trouble what so ever

lucky I guess. I know a lot of people who use it have had some sort of shite happen.

Even when buying from genuine sellers (so it seems) who have had their account nicked!!

He'd sold over 800 items. Dont see why the sudden change in being registered

ive bought over 340 items, only had 2 bad purchases, and i got partially refunded for both of them.

although i do agree theres an awfull lot of scammers on there and quite frankly it seems ebay just dont give a toss if you get ripped off or not, you have to be very vigilent when using it.

i have done 140. be screwed 3 times but payed back for 2 of them by ebay insurance.
