. . .and I have to say, it looks different, for some reason, to the Vaux VXR one.

And I have no idea why. This one didn't have any stuff in the back, so I don't know whether the OPC's are lower, or this has been lowered.

Anyway, looked mint even if dirty.

That's what I said. I don't know if the Opel ones are lower anyway, or whether the owner lowered it. But lowered looks much much better!

i agree tbh. would be good to find out if the opel versions are slightly lower than the uk model....if that is the case, i'd like to know why?

has it been the case when an opel corsa gsi has been lower than the uk one? i dont think so? if there's no real thinkable reason why its lower out the facotry, thats what made me think its the owners doing. but it does look ace....needs a clean though

Why would the factory making the springs make different springs for Swis cars to UK cars?

but that leads me to believe the owner lowered it

I know I was in France, but I saw a lot more Clio Sports, both 'old' shape and new. The new ones are growing on me.

I do know that in Germany the Astra VXR is sold with the IDS (I have no idea what that stands for) suspension setup which is an optional extra over here which costs £1000. Maybe that is what that OPC has?

IDS is thier name for the stability control system. It adjusts the dampers while you're driving along

Ed they quite possibly would make cars in different markets with different springs as the road systems are completely different

The continent has much smoother flatter roads than us according to autocar and some cars use entirely different setups apparently

Cars have previously had their suspension adapted for UK roads when they go on sale here so there is every possibility that it'll be different.

Looking at this picture:

And this picture:

It doesn't really look that much lower. I just remember seeing that OPC and thinking "blimey, that looks low!"
