After the race finished this afternoon the weather was real nice and we had most of the windows open. Spotted two planes flying low over our garden. I went outside to see a spitfire and a hurricane circling the old airfield next to each other. Has been years since ive seen such a spectacle and realy nice to see. They continued to circle the area for a good hour or so. Really must make more effort to go to more air shows soon. Shame they dont have the one in Folkestone anymore

Only 3 months ago
You can always tell when WW2 planes are flying over, most of them have the Rolls Royce Merlin or the Mercedes Daimler-Ben V12 in the German fighters/bombers etc.

They sound lovely. I went out for a spirited drive a bit later on in my dads elise and was passed over by another spitfire in d-day colours along side a corsair.

How is the museum by the way? Its been ages since I went? Worth a visit? That really is only about 2 mins walk from my house by the way.
