Just say she must of misheard you, as you have spoken to another member who was there and neither of you remember hearing or saying anything. The old dear must have poor hearing.

Apologise for the confusion and say you'll try to be clearer in the future so this doesnt happen again.

If you both say you didn't say anything then it's 2 vs 1.
I've been in various disciplinaries due to 'apparently' swearing at supervisors at work. Unfortunately for them there was only me & them so no proof to back either one of us so it was dropped after me being sat in the disciplinary for 3 hours after I told them they had no proof and to stop wasting my time

tell them to GTF as you cant get one for being ill. Get a docs note and push it down the manager throat.

Its because I've had 17 days over 6 seperate occassions.

The allegation is that I am failing to fulfil my contractual obligations in terms of attendance. Bullshit.

The doctor wont give me a note as I've never had more than a week of for a migrane. Plus its not like she persribes me migrane tablets for fun is it?

Anyway I think i might lose me job...

if your getting disciplinary at work because youve been off then the doc will give you the note. If she wont then go to another doc and get it.

Not allowed. Have to do it when I'm not in work.

Which is a pain in the ass.

If people have time to complain about stupid things like that they really ought to be asking themselves if they should have something better to do!

i had one for wrecking about on a scooter in one of my old works back yards years ago. final written warning, misuse of company premises.

then a couple of years later at the same work i got another final for walking out on my shift (i was the assistant manager by this stage and left a fledging supervisor in charge)
