Just looking through piston heads... I think it's really quite nice, though it's strange that I do as kits etc arn't my thing, but on a car of this size, it's kinda acceptable...
Nissan 300 zx - 3.0 v6 Twin Turbo - Manual.

I'd imagine insurance would rape me and I'd have no where to park it (plus it's already sold) - but what do people reckon?

My old boss had 1! The engine had to be taken out to replace the turbos as the seals were fooked.
He had it done at zed world it cost a fortune!
Be very carefull buying 1 as they are old and most people shift them because of problems...
They are serious high speed cruisers though he had the automatic version it went like stink loads of torque

Had one come for an MOT at work. Looked under the bonnet to find 2 massive turbosmart megasonic dump valves. Big twin flange buggers, looked ace

im looking at these myself m8y.
as much as i know im doing my homework according to the 300zx owners club steer well clear of an auto tt an auto non turbos ok but alot of the tt autos are fucked now,
also mpg is less than 20 your lookin at less than 15 if you boot it.
my m8 owns one of these if it has a water leak dont buy it or get it looked at asap these things apparently drink water but my m8s BLEW UP ON THE WAY HOME with that problem.
not a very reliable car either make sure youve got deep pockets,
dads mates dad owns one of these and his runs 500BHP thats well fast and as for the barge comments me myself i think these handle rather well for a heavy car,
i couldnt fault it wen my dads m8 tookme out for a spin it stuck to the road,
these engines have massive potential.
the tt standard does 0-60 i think in 5.7 seconds cant rem exactly and the non turbo does it in 7.5-8.0 seconds.
inside if i remember rightly they were quite roomy but rather odd inside the way you gewt in them you tend to fall back into the seat lol.
also these are a very very poormans ferrari,
that hasnt stopped me wanting one but as said steer clear of a tt auto the non turbo autos are ok though, if your gonna tune it deffo steer clear.
ill get my m8 to give us some bits i can put on here ive lost the links he sent me.
all in all make sure you have deep pockets lol.
