I have some Nicky Clarke ones that you can use in water aswell. Means you can use warm water to soften the hairs and does cause as much dry skin or irritation. Also helps to clean them aswell 
And they won some FHM best grooming thing so must be good

i have nicky clarke trimmers too, missus bought me them years ago, wonder if they will work ok on the beard then, might go dig them out and have a shot...

Started trimming it with trimmers but it's sore and making a right mess 
My dad is bringing his beard trimmers down and try them, face is still a mess with spots under the beard

Tried with a #1 but didn't seem to be doing much so then just used the trimmers with no length adaptor on it.. half my face is quite short other half is long...

mine once ran out after doing half my face and couldnt find my charger.
Had to send my dad out to buy some new ones so I could use the charger
