How much you got to spend on insurance? Does the age of the car matter?

Sorry didnt explain everything.
Im only 19 with no ncb so im going under my dads name, and therefore can afford to go for sumthing a bit higher insurance. My corsa 1.2 is only £500.

Yes vtr's are quick, but the experience a few of mates have had with 106's or saxos's wud put me off. They just arent built great. (no1 start)

I'd argue that saxo's are mainly owned by young drivers, abused and not looked after.

Yes very true mate, my mates had been driven very hard and the gearbox is wrecked due to it. My other mate has been doing a bita work at his and taking door cards off etc and the plastic is very cheap and taccy. His car is also lowered 40mm on 15's and the ride in it is awful compared to my corsa which is lowered 40mm on 17's. You get a lot of road noise off them too. The general feel of them imo is just that arent built great and my mates that own them agree.

insurance groups mean piss all just get a quote, theres alot of factors taken into consideration when a quote is given not just a group.
