Hi guys,
just looking around for more speakers for my car (back ones and the little tweeters I need now..)
Am I right in thinking that when you buy a REAR SPEAKER Adaptor you can fit 13cm in the back? (I understand that they are 10Cm standard) I've had a look at a few of the audio websites and when you Purchase the adaptors you can put 13Cm's in can't find any 10cm adaptors?????
I did post a topic like this in the "ICE & Electrics" section and got no interest b4 you have a pop....
Cheers

were probably low spec ones
the high spec ones like these http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/product/products_id/5772.html are made better, you get what you pay for afterall
but to answer the original question
these http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/product/products_id/2001.html allow 13cm speakers to be fitted to the rear

Sounds like we are all in different leagues.
Without a budget indicator this thread is pointless. Although the chap wasn't looking speaker brand advice by the looks of it...?

Yea Alpine Type R is what i am thinking of getting... I can't believe my Sony Brookland Speaker (left hand side 13cm) one has buggered
I am def gonna get the Type R's (13cm) I just hope they don't distort!
And as for JBL I was gonna get some 10cm ones for the back but the adaptors allow for 13cm's so Im gonna get some Type S
Cheers lads

Personally i like Alpine.
I have an Alpine HU and used to have 17cm Alpine Type R comps but they are too big for the Corsa front doors without pods...
So i have some infinity comps for the time being. Amped of course.

alpines are the better of the lower end stuff that you can buy at halfords and road radio etc, but focal are only better if you go for the top of the range stuff, a mate of mine had the focal access components and they were distorting long before my alpine type S components.
