Just found this line in an old message you posted;
"the 1.4 16v enginer is easily tuneable to 105-110bhp with just an ilet and exhaust and few other bits costing less than 1k, and it totally transforms the car, well worth doing if insurance is an issue"
Explain this please, i've got a 1.4 16v & need its performance increased!

Yes, that is your starting point. Then its onto exhaust manifold and system and if you want, cams and remap.

can get more power than stated, i got 103bhp from just....
deresticted/drilled airbox with panel filter
4-2-1 manifold
Decat
Scorpion system
BUT the inlet manifold makes a noticeable difference, would recommend to anyone
now have approx 120-125bhp with a powerbox and superchip
will comfirm this once car goes on rollers again (within next 2 weeks)
hope this helps
