Thinking of changing my car and spotted a nice Clio 172 at a garage at dinner time so just done a quick insurance quote on confused.com it and there all coming back at £1800-£2000 fully comp

Im 22, 4 Years NCB, 3 points.

Is it just me or does that seem a little on the high side

I've not really searched for car insurance for a while but it seem a hell of a jump from the £600 I pay for my Lupo

Can't imagine you getting it for under 900 quid if you shop around

I'm 22 with 3 years NCB and 3 points and I pay £946 fully comp on my LCR so I'd say that was a little bit high!

i found cliosport insurance surprisingly high for some reason.

think i managed to get it for around 900 in the end with tesco

i found best quote 1050 quid for me 21 3 yrs ncb on clio 172.

Then try Churchill or Directline as they aren't included on the comparison sites. Although they don't allow any mods.

Once you've got the comparison price, go direct, it may often be cheaper

Will have a better look around, just did confused.com as I was at work and wanted a rough idea of how much it would be.
