Thinking of getting a loan for 2.5k. whos the best to go with for one, what shoudl i look for when getting 1, the lowest apr possible, any help would be great cheers.

apr will be high on 2.5k, whoevers best will depend on who offers the best deal. Type personal loan into google & use one of the searches.

just on moneysupermarket.com at the min they serch through quite a few places for you. is the apr more the lower the loan amount?

also depends what you want it for, as if its for some specialist things (such as car) then can get some decent rates through specialist loan providers.

Yeah loan amount & repayment term affects the apr.

Some offer 6.9% just now, but only on loans upwards of £7k, 2.5k might be something like 12%

yer cheers colin just found that one on money supermarket aswell. 6.9%apr 2.5k total repayment of £2.766. so that would be the best to go for then.

Yes, worth applying for.

Although I applied for a loan off them once before & got knocked back...........no idea why, my credit score is very good!

you have to be 21 for northern rock, im not 21 till november have to try another one.
