With First Alternative on the Astra - renewal quote at 740.
Left it until today to do it as I've been using a Freelander that my mum and I went halves on and they tell me 740 quote is no longer available. New price is 1042. Old insurance was insured and spouse even though I've never been married apparently
No thanks mate, I'll shop around, leaving me with no insurance and needing to drive to work.
Phones Admiral who are currently insuring the LR and my Corsa a multi-car thing, says I need to add the Astra on to that. Ran through the quote, 680. 720 with my brother, so for 40 quid may as well have that.
Goes ahead, guy comes back on, its actually only 645 - the LR came down 50 and the Corsa down 25 when I added the Astra on. Bonus.
Result - three cars insured for less than I was paying for the Astra on its own a few years ago.
