me and a friend cleaned out my idle control valve last week in my gte because it could never idle the same all the time.its been cleaned and it still hasnt changed.could this be because its needs replacing with a new 1 or could it be something else which is causing the problem??

could be an air leak.

Check all vacuum pipes for cracks splits etc
