Engine is in, running and mapped!
New gearbox, all the wiring had to be redone cos the guy in the bodyshop who took it out literally ripped out loads of wires, throttle linkage kit, loads of nuts and bolts missing etc, but its FINALLY sorted, and I'm SOOOOOO excited, theres no way I will be able to sleep properly tonight! The engine isnt putting out anywhere near what I was hoping for, (I dont think the cam timing was set up, and the exhaust manifold is still standard) but the guy said its in the 180s somewhere (couldnt remember exact figure off the top of his head), although he said their rollers do usually read a bit low aswell. Im not bothered though, Im moving to Spain in september so im just gonna enjoy for this summer and worry about making it even faster next year, think its time to just get it on the road and enjoy it.
Stereo has been sold, 11 rolls sound deadening will be coming out, i ordered some carbon fibre front and rear door trims today, got new buckets, steering wheel, smoked headlights and HID kit to fit aswell when I got it back.

Engine specs...
C20XE 2.0 16v engine conversion, Jenvey DTH throttle bodies, Emerald M3K mappable ECU, polished and ported head, bronze valve guides, double valve springs, CatCam 280 degree high lift cams, Vernier pulleys, pocketed Mahle pistons, blue injectors, ARP bolts and head stud kit, fully rebuilt bottom end with all new gaskets and seals, all new sensors, silicone hoses, uprated oil pump with QED hardened steel internals, polished crank, lightened and balanced flywheel, 4-1 manifold and stainless 2.25" straight through exhaust.
Colour coded rocker cover, silicone hoses, chrome header tank and spark plug cover

I'll post up the RR graph when I can too for all you hardcore tech fans.

Bottom end had done 1000 miles, I think the head had done about the same. Will I still need to run it in? :S

I dont think id cope, im too excited already How bout some nice golden brown?
Im gonna get it tomorrow, and drive back here for the evening just so i can do the hereford to aber drive with the new engine Then back to hereford to work on the pond. Thats gonna be about 1/8 of my mileage limit in 2 days
