i wana give it a nice lick of paint. i know they get hot but will normal based paint be ok or will i definately need heat resistant paint?

i just used halfrauds own spray mate, then loads of clear laquer! came out fine. theres a pic in my projects thread if you wanna have a gander

Any spray paint stays on them fine.
They dont get too hot.
